![]() ![]() Scandoval just tipped things over the edge. But it was like him getting away with crap and Ariana backing him up/trying to make his glaring issues ok, were bat guano level ego fertilizer. His relationship with Kristen was such divine foreshadowing. I feel like he went from being slightly problematic to scorched earth poo poo head. Sandoval likes Billie Lee because she rand and jumped into his clutches. He defended her post Fat Neck because he knew it would be a bad look. Sandoval liked Lala because she was new and he thought he could get her in his clutches. Sandoval liked James for the same reasons he liked Jax. Sandoval liked Scheana because she's a harmless Pick Me. Sandoval liked Kristen because she made him a martyr. He hated her because she did something that garnered praise. Sandoval disliked Stassi because she was always the real #1 Guy of the group and he was inconsequential to her. Also, he gets bonus points for constantly forgiving him. Sandoval liked Jax because they had the same interests (drinking and womanizing) and Jax was always publicly fucking up, which made Tom look better by comparison. Sandoval hated Katie because she was his competition for Schwartz's attention. Sanoval likes Schwartz because Schwartz will do whatever he wants and he gets to be a Nice Guy by association. She was funny and cool, and he desperately wants to be seen as cool. Sandoval liked Ariana because she wasn't friends with the girls who already knew he was lame. But, after his antics about Ariana's book, then his blow up about Stassi's, I realized. I thought he had a good sense of humor and he seemed to really care about his friends. Jax was better TV too, messy and funny - too bad he is problematic in other ways. Not that this is about comparing the two, but they are two sides of the same liar coin, and personally I’d rather watch Jax on TV than Tim. I did not really get that from Jax, he kinda owned up to his shit eventually. Tim just pretends nothing is wrong, that whatever happens it’s because he was the victim. Jax was an obvious liar that Tim hid behind because Jax is the type of liar to avoid punishment, he obviously had some sexual compulsions and probably needs to spend time in therapy- and he did do that in later episodes. But he’s the type of liar that uses half truths to show his “loyalty” He didn’t take a beat to even process what he did - he just did his impression of a musician and flaunted his ego on stage because being on TV isn’t enough for this shithead.īefore scandoval happened I got big liar vibes from him. He is an immature, selfish, and arrogant man that will never grow up because he has all this money and fame. He is not a good friend, he is a manipulator and uses his “generosity” as a weapon. He uses the men on the show as much as the women, it’s just much more cloaked in “friendship.” ![]() I think he wanted Schwartz to split first (and take the first hit from the public) so that it could pave the way for him, and then in his head they would have their own show with them and the bar and his band and all the fan girls. ![]() He wants to “win” at everything, yet is genuine in nothing. Side note - I don’t think he would have split with Ariana if Schwartz had stayed married, and all of the reasons are ego and jealousy based. I’ve been waiting so long for people to see what was really happening. Nope, can’t like a dude who treats people like props and is so jealous of any woman’s success that he will do anything to cut it down. So gross, everything about his core was revealed and every flag was confirmed. Also with the stassi book party moment it was all spread on the table. But from the moment he said to Ariana that everyone was asking why HE wasn’t doing a cocktail book (rather than her, implied), it was completely obvious what kind of person he was. He barely existed in the beginning, the show was really about the girls (and jax) at the start, so he flew under the radar until he was with Ariana.
